Ray Boyd Hall

Ray Boyd Hall, born in Bison, South Dakota, on January 24, 1942, passed from this life on September 19, 2026, peacefully in his home with his wife Nancy and Caregiver Gracie by his side. 
Ray is survived by his daughter Deborah Hall (Dan) and son Steve Hall both of Aurora, Colorado; stepdaughter Stefanie Ball Taylor (Mark) of DeCordova, Texas, stepson Jacob Ball (Heather) of Louisville, Kentucky, sister Eileen Hall Misener (Dave) of Columbia Falls, Montana, grandsons Mark Taylor, Dustin Taylor and granddaughter Sofia Taylor, granddaughter Hannah Ball and grandson Ethan Ball along with 10 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother William Hall of Granbury, Texas, Marjorie Hall Edwards of Rockford, Illinois, his parents Doris and Forrest Hall of Spearfish, South Dakota, as well as his former wife and mother of his children, Karen Hall of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Ray was a rancher in South Dakota after serving in the US Army, followed by a move to Texas to follow his love “Golf”. 
Burial took place at 11 a.m. on September 29, in the Chance Cemetery in Chance, South Dakota, with a luncheon to follow at the Presbyterian Church in Bison. A Celebration of his Life will be held in DeCordova Bend Estates at a later date.
