Terry Lee Tornow, 80 passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.
A memorial service with military honors was held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Tornow and Viola Tornow Johnson; and his sister, Pat Ann Tornow.
Terry served with the United States Army Special Forces for 14 years. He was a remarkable renaissance man who could fix anything. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and brother-in-law who will be missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 35 years, Jeanie Tornow of the home; children, Mary Vanden Bos of Seattle, Chris, Didi and Tara Tornow; brother, Francis “Sonny” Tornow of Rapid City, SD; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Charles Randolph of Autryville.
Services were entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC 28391.
