Timothy "Frankie" Womack

Timothy "Frankie" Womack, age 23, of Grindstone, South Dakota, died on Saturday, June 26, 2021 near Grindstone due to an automobile accident.
Timothy Francis “Frankie” Womack was born on December 3, 1997 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Tim Womack and Tamara Thorson. He attended grade school at Alfalfa Valley and graduated from Philip High School in 2016.
Frankie worked many places over the years. He worked for Will Anders, Keith Smith, John Neumann, and the Philip and Faith sale barns to name a few. Currently he was working for McFeat Concrete in Kadoka. Frankie loved working cattle and he spent a lot of time helping at the home ranch.
Frankie’s family often referred to him as a “giant teddy bear.” There wasn’t a mean bone in his body and you rarely saw him angry. Frankie was a man of few words but if you got him started talking it was hard to get him stopped. He never met a stranger and you couldn’t help but become friends with him. He will be greatly missed by all.
Grateful for having shared his life are his parents; Tamara Thorson and Tim Womack; his sisters, Evonne Womack (Austin Enestvedt), Christine Womack (Will Anders), and Autumn “Rosie” Womack; brother, Jesse Thorson; grandparents, Danny and Nancy Womack, Colleen Bettelyoun, and Francine Red Willow; uncles, Todd Thorson, Greg Womack, and John Womack; nephew, Jace Enestvedt; cousin, Thomas Herrera; special friend, Sam Huston, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Margret Thorson and his sister, Sara Elizabeth Buhmann; great-grandparents, Dale and Deloris Dunnihoo; and grandpa, Francis Long Soldier.
Cards and memorials may be sent to P.O. Box 353 Philip, SD 57567.
