Theodore Manley Williams

Theodore Manley Williams, 88, passed away Saturday, October 10,2020 at Benefis Methodist Hospital in Great Falls, Montana.
Teddy was born December 22, 1933 to Theodore and Anna Williams.
The family lived on a farm south of Faith, South Dakota.  He went by horseback to school in Faith. Well growing up Teddy enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.
He was drafted into the Korean War in 1956 and proudly served in the Army Corp of Engineers building bridges throughout Europe.
    His father passed away while he was away in the service and he never got to attend his funeral.  Teddy always talked highly of     his father.
    After he returned home from the service Teddy met Lorraine     Douglas and they were married in Isabel, SD.  To this union two children were born. He worked for West River Oil Company  delivering oil and also was a mechanic on cars and trucks.  Later in life he moved to Rapid City and worked for Cletus Malloy Trucking where he hauled bulk mail for the US Postal Service.  He really enjoyed working for this company and was very proud of  it.
After Teddy retired from driving truck he moved back to Faith because he missed all of his old friends.  He then suffered some severe strokes and had to be put in a nursing home for care.  To     be close to family he was placed in a home in Great Falls.
Teddy was a simple man and did not need much to keep him happy.
    He enjoyed talking about the daily things that would happen on the farm he was born on.  My dad taught me so many things, I
don't think I could write them all down.  He will be missed tremendously but I know that he accepted Jesus as his savior so I know he is in good hands now with the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia; a sister; and grandson, Teddy Robert Williams.
    Teddy is survived by his son, Teddy Williams, Great Falls, Mt;
daughter, Margret Williams Keel, Bismark, ND
    Funeral services will be held Friday, October 16, 2020 at 10:00
    am at Bethel Lutheran Church in Faith.  Burial will follow at 2pm at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
Friends and family may sign his online guestbook and leave written condolences for the family at blackhillsfuneralhome.com.
