Richard ‘Ricky' Jordan

Funeral service for Richard ‘Ricky’ Jordan, 42, of Aberdeen, SD, were held Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, with Father Jeffrey Schulte, Celebrant. Inurnment will be at a later date at Plainview Cemetery, Faith, SD. Ricky died Thursday, May 5, at his home in Aberdeen. 

Visitation was held 3:00-7:00pm, Wednesday, with family present from 5:00-7:00pm, followed by a wake at 7:00pm at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 South Main Street. 

Richard ‘Ricky’ John Jordan was born April 2, 1980, to Darlene Jordan in Aberdeen, SD. He attended Roncalli High School through his senior year and graduated from Aberdeen Central High School 1998. He played soccer when younger and wrestled during high school. Ricky worked as a bartender in several places, currently at Rohly’s. 

He loved music and attending concerts. He enjoyed Fantasy Football and the Minnesota Vikings. Ricky loved to cook and made great dishes for family and friends. His cousins were like siblings to him and their children like nieces and nephews. 

Grateful for having shared Ricky’s life are his mother, Darlene Jordan; sister Wanita (Stacy) Rohne, Redwood Falls, MN, and children: Alexandra, Chalese and Gage Rohne; brother Jeff Haiar, Pierre, SD, and children: Adam and Elizabeth Haiar; aunts & uncles: Dan (Jayne) Jordan, Diane Conn, Jody Jordan; cousins: Chris Jordan, Karen Southworth, Mary Stringfellow, Michael Jordan, Adam Jordan, Rachel Caspers, Sarah Gann, Dustin Conn, Jon Conn, Alicia Conn, and Sammi Conn-Ensaldo. 

Preceding Ricky in death are his grandparents Herman & Altha Jordan; uncles Don Jordan and Rich Conn.
