Pearl Penor

Pearl (Seidel) Penor 88 years old has passed at Rapid City Regional Hospital on Friday, June 15, 2018 after many years dealing with advanced Alzheimer’s.  Pearl was a resident at Bella Vista.
Pearl was born to Phillip and Elizabeth (Mattis) Seidel near Meadow, South Dakota and joined two older brothers Raymond and Clifford. Nine years later another sister, Shirley joined the family.
Ken and Pearl were married at Lodgepole South Dakota February 27, 1950.  Their union produced two daughters, Linda Lee (Penor) Herreman and Vicki (Penor) Manwell.
Pearl graduated from Lemmon High School and went on to obtain her teaching certificate.  She used her degree to help educate children in SD during her working years.
Peal and Ken enjoyed many years of square & round dancing together and even went to the International Square and Round Dance Festival in Saskatchewan Canada in 1971. Pearl also enjoyed line dancing in her later years at the Canyon Lake senior center and playing the piano, organ and traveling.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Vicki; two brothers.  Pearl is survived by her daughter Linda (Wayne) Herreman, Linda’s sons  and daughters, Joshua, Alexis and Lilly Jo; Justin  (Renee) and daughters, Emma, Isabelle, and Lily; Jason (Jenn); and Joe (Ann) and children Zack and Ava; sister, Shirley Biel; sister-in laws Dorothy Seidel & Muriel Seidel.
Memorial has been established to Meals on Wheels.
There will be a Private family burial at Mountain View Cemetery.
