Maxine Lorraine Smith

Maxine Lorraine Smith, age 95, of Owanka, died Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.
Survivors include a son James "Jim" Smith and his wife Myrna of Owanka; two daughters Nancy Geary and her husband Doug of Rapid City, and Leslie Brown and her husband Troy of Harrold; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister Frances Poste of Wall; a brother Jack Guethlein of North Platte, Nebraska; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband Thomas A Smith of February 13, 1990; her parents; and three sisters Marjorie Willuweit, Helen Rittberer, and Dorothy Burch.
Funeral services are pending with the Rush Funeral Chapel of Wall.
