Grace (Doud) Torres

Grace (Doud) Torres, Lynnwood WA, formerly of Bemidji, MN, passed November 6, 2022. Grace was born February 11, 1935 to Ralph E. Doud and Grace (Whisler) Doud in Midland, SD. 
Grace married Arthur “Jim” Woods August 6, 1953; residing in Rapid Cit,y SD until moving with their four children to Bemidji, MN in 1964. Grace raised the children in Bemidji but eventually moved to Lynnwood, WA.  While there, she became reacquainted with John Torres Sr. and they married in 1996.  
Grace was a kind, courageous, strong, woman who was aptly named, for grace defined her life. She loved the Lord and shared this with so many.  She will live on in the hearts and lives of those blessed by her presence.  
Grace is survived by daughter Kathy (Terry) Patton of Lynnwood, daughter Natalie (Dirk) Grosfield, daughter Joni (David) Harms, all of Bemidji; three granddaughters, six grandsons, nine great-grandchildren, brother Richard (Celia) Doud and sister Natalie Schied.  Grace was preceded in death by husband John Torres Sr., son James Woods, and two grandsons.
