Ellouise Ellwanger

Ellouise Ellwanger, age 80, of Draper, passed away February 21, 2017 at the Buffalo Hospital in Buffalo, Minn.
 
Ellouise Ellwanger was born on November 28, 1936, in Murdo, S.D., to Hugh and Dorotha (Marshall) Roush. She grew up and attended school in Draper. She married Art Ellwanger in 1955 at the Draper Methodist Church, and to this union two children were born, Lonny and Twila. Ellouise enjoyed being a wife and mother and helping Art with anything he needed.
 
Ellouise worked for the Star Café for over 30 years and was an active member of the community. She was part of the PTA, Ladies Aid, Prairie Home Ladies, the Card Club and the Methodist Church. When she wasn’t helping the community, she was helping Art with everything from the bookwork to gluing pipes. She also really enjoyed helping babysit her grandkids and foster grandkids anytime she was needed.  
   
Grateful for having shared her life is her son, Lonny (Patti) Ellwanger, Draper; her daughter, Twila Remund, Watertown, Minn.; grandchildren, Brandi (Tate) Koenig, Bridget (Matt) Rosckes, Britney (Zack) Mueller, and Cameron (Brooke) Bishop; seven great grandchildren, Kaleb, Tanner, Shaylee, Bryce, Estherlyn, Isaiah and Harbor; brothers, Dick (Addie) Roush and Wendell Roush; sister, Joyce Hammond, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister, Marva and son in-law, Rick. 
 
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 27 at Murdo Methodist church with visitation prior to the service. Burial followed at the Draper Cemetery.
