Clayton Kjerstad, age 67, of Wall, South Dakota, died on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Survivors include his wife Charlene Kjerstad of Wall; five children Rachel (Darin) Buhmann of Wall, Brennan (Laurie) Kjerstad of Wall, Jordon (Rachel) Kjerstad of Wall, Conrad (Kalie) Kjerstad of Wall, and Muriel (Jeremy) Nehl of Rapid City; 15 grandchildren; his mother Mary J. Kjerstad of Quinn; one brother Virgil (Judy) Kjerstad of Rapid City; five sisters Sandra (Tom) Ehle of Duluth, MN, Debra (Lee) Neville of Rapid City, Twila Kjerstad of Quinn, Sherri (Dave) Forman of Austin, MN, and Sharla (Gerald) Julson of Quinn; his mother-in-law Beatrice “Bea” Ramsey of Spearfish; and aunt Marge Winkowitsch of Quinn; numerous, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Clayton was preceded in death by a son Allen Kjerstad; his father Konrad Kjerstad; and his father-in-law Charles Ramsey.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, at the Rush Funeral Chapel in Wall.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, at the United Methodist Church in Wall.
